On this cut I play congas, bell and clave behind native puertoriqueña Marta Nazario as she interprets the afro-antillano poetry of Luis Palés Matos.

Recorded with one overdubbed track, iLa Cuba! is entirely the product of spontaneous invention. It features David Landry's scat vocals as well as original French lyrics.

Recordings of live percussion and vocals overdubbed and layered on top of my compositions of music samples from Apple's GarageBand software.

Some of my spanish monolog and scat over one of my GarageBand compositions.

As I am still road-testing this adjustable-snare bass cajon that I just made, I did this recording to hear just what its bass can do. I overdubbed my moaning conga and dropped in a pre-fab kit beat.
